Overview

The Department of Mathematics' unique graduate programs offer M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in four majors: pure mathematics, applied and computational mathematics, financial mathematics, and biomathematics. In addition, Interdisciplinary Data Science is a separate master's degree program in which one of the available majors is in mathematics. Each major has its own distinct curriculum encompassing subjects from pure and applied mathematics, as well as subjects from other departments in the case of the interdisciplinary financial math, biomathematics and data science.
